Groups like The Bangladesh Enterpise Institute in Bangladesh, Future Generation Foundation in Egypt, Jamia Millia Islamiya in India, WADA in Pakistan and Injaz in Jordan all have expressed interest in education modules that draw on positive role models from Muslim and global culture. Partners could bring the “Golden Age Leadership Dynamics” course to some or all of these students using a mix of traditional classroom and online instruction, in English and other national languages. A number of education officials at North American and European groups like France’s La Ligue de l’enseignement (www.laligue.org) have expressed interest in introducing a learning module “Contributions of Muslim Civilization” to help non-Muslim publics understand the importance, breadth and richness of Muslim civilization, especially in light of current events. The module could be developed solely by NFP, or in partnership with a leading university education department. The module could be tested with partner secondary, university and adult level education systems, and then offered for licensing to various systems. After development, the course could be licensed by NFP to other school systems around the world. The pilot could be offered beginning fall 2010, and worldwide in 2011.
